1. Data Controller
The data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation is Digital Assets Technologies (DAT) AG. For privacy-related inquiries, contact us at [email protected].
2. What We Collect
NautPay is designed to minimize data collection. We collect: (a) Public wallet addresses you connect to the service, (b) Transaction metadata necessary for compliance screening, (c) Basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) via privacy-respecting tools, (d) Information you voluntarily provide through support requests. We do not collect private keys, seed phrases, personal identification documents, or off-chain financial data.
3. How We Use Your Data
We process data for: (a) Providing and operating the NautPay service, (b) Running sanctions and compliance screening via NautLense, (c) Maintaining audit trails as required by applicable regulations, (d) Improving service reliability and user experience, (e) Responding to support requests and legal obligations.
4. Compliance Screening Data
When you initiate a transaction, the recipient wallet address is screened against global sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN) through NautLense. Screening results are logged for regulatory compliance purposes. These logs include the wallet address, timestamp, screening result, and sanctions lists checked. Screening data is retained for the period required by applicable anti-money laundering regulations.
5. Blockchain Data
Transactions executed through NautPay are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is a public, immutable ledger. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be deleted or modified. This is inherent to blockchain technology and is outside our control.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share data with: (a) Infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (hosting, RPC nodes), (b) Compliance and sanctions data providers, (c) Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when legally required. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data, request correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. Note that certain data may be retained where required by law or where deletion is technically impossible (e.g., on-chain data).
8. Cookies & Tracking
NautPay uses only essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics, where used, are privacy-respecting and anonymized.
